Hello, I’m Tara.

For the first several years of my career as a massage therapist, I worked with women recovering from eating disorders as well as post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. During this time I grew curious about the link between trauma, pain and mental health. Once I started learning more about the nervous system, brain and body, my work as a massage therapist changed.

Additionally, bodywork helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life which is why I was so drawn to this work in the first place.

TERRA means Earth in latin which is why I chose to use it as my business name. My work is centered around the Thich Nhat Han quote: “your body is your first home.”

My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space for you to “Unearth” your inner calm.

Clients typically come in for support with anxiety, pain and/or stress and we explore together which avenue may best support their process. Bodywork, TRE, and/or nervous system coaching.

Tara is a kind, gentle, and loving soul and a master at her craft. I have experienced craniosacral and massage therapy with her and would be hard put to decide which I liked more. She listens, and at the same time has a natural ability to go just where you need her to. She provides a comfortable and safe environment where I feel free to let go in what ever way I need to at any given moment, and she is right there with me. Tara is a true gift.
