Tara Eidse, licensed massage therapist and TRE® Provider
Motivated by a strong desire to help others and by a curiosity about her own mind-body connection, Tara became a massage therapist in 2012. Since then, she has pursued further education in sports massage, trigger-point therapy, and aromatherapy. She has also studied the Upledger tradition of CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release and loves integrating this dynamic modality into bodywork treatments. Tara is a sensitive healer who understands how unconscious emotions and belief patterns impact the physical body.
Tara has a special interest in the effects of trauma and stress on the mind and body and in helping clients to heal from those effects. To that end, she has earned certifications as both a vinyasa yoga instructor and a provider of TRE® (trauma releasing exercises). The latter, a revolutionary yet simple exercise to release stress, tension, and trauma from the body, is a particular favorite of Tara’s, because it is something that, once taught, can be done anytime, anywhere on one’s own. Tara has taught both TRE® and yoga to women and men in recovery from eating disorders.
In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, Tara holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and is a certified personal trainer.
