Here are a few of my latest health + wellness tips. I’m sharing these tips because they’ve changed my life in significant ways. Even though these are very subtle actions, they help me feel more motivated, energized and excited to be alive. Are you looking for new ways to re-inspire and feel motivated in your daily life? Staying Motivated + Excited in your daily life
- Try this: when you wake up in the morning spend the FIRST 2-5 minutes of your day focusing on your breath. That’s right. Don’t check your phone. Don’t make coffee. Don’t go on your usual rant of “I don’t want to get up and go to work today”. Once you wake up, find a quiet, comfortable space. Preferably a space without distractions. Sit for 2 – 5 minutes with your eyes closed focusing on your breath. Practice with sitting up right, closing eyes, and breathing in + out through your nose.
- Write down the 3 most important things to accomplish during your day. These things might be tasks related to work or contain tasks related to your personal goals/life you’d like to get done. Why put things off when you can slowly work on tasks each day? Your actions are powerful and help you create the life you want.
- Find time to do something you really enjoy. Spend an hour doing that one thing. Some ideas are yoga, meditation, journaling, reading, hiking, art making, etc. What adds to your energy rather than takes it away? Think about something that is life-filling rather than life-sucking.
