common questions

What is TRE®? For detailed info, please visit my page dedicated to TRE® here. In short, TRE® is a self-healing “tool” that you can practice anytime, anywhere. Kind of like yoga or meditation. You can practice at home, in a studio, or outside. TRE® is easy to learn and helps reduce the buildup of stress, tension and trauma.

Do I need to undress for bodywork treatments? this depends! If you’re receiving a 60 minute craniosacral therapy session you will stay fully clothed for the session. If you receive massage, you may disrobe to your level of comfort. I employ professional draping techniques during the session.

Do you offer mobile appointments? Yes I do. These are offered on a limited basis and for an additional travel cost depending on location. Please call me for more information and pricing.

Do you accept insurance? Short answer is no. But, I can help you get reimbursed by your insurance company if your insurance covers out of network providers for therapeutic massage. Typically insurance companies in Arizona require medical necessity (i.e. doctor’s referral note) to cover out of network providers.

How long have you practiced massage and where did you go to school? I attended the Cortiva Institute in Tucson, Arizona. I opened my private practice a couple months after graduating school in September 2012. I have continuing education in craniosacral therapy, cupping, gua-sha, russian sports massage, aromatherapy, and trigger point therapy.
